Dr. James Hoffmann:

Dr. Hoffmann received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) degree in 1990 from the University of Missouri - College of Veterinary Medicine.  After practicing as an associate in clinics at Murray, Kentucky and Greenbrier, Arkansas, Dr. Hoffmann moved to Searcy and opened Westside Veterinary Clinic in 1992.   

In 2011, Dr. Hoffmann became Board Certified in Canine and Feline Practice by the ABVP (American Board of Veterinary Practitioners).  His professional interests include internal medicine, diagnostic testing, and preventative care.

Dr. Gela Nelson:

Dr. Nelson is a 1987 graduate of Conway High School. She received a Bachelors degree in Biology from UCA in 1991. She obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University's School of Veterinary Medicine in 1995 and has been a vital member of our clinic since 2002.
